I'm wondering cause he's playing my state fair (i know..i know). I wanted to know who's playing in his band, but some info i found in searches and stuff is kinda leading me to believe he's on a country / bluegrass kick now, and playing old VH / DLR songs in a country mode. Anyone have any info? Seen him? What's goin on?!

A short time ago,he put out a CD called "Strummin' With The Devil:The Southern Side Of Van Halen" and it is Van Halen songs done in a bluegrass/country form.He sings on two songs-"Jump" and "Jamie's Crying".The rest of the CD is bluegrass bands doing Vah Halen songs. If you are thinking about getting the CD,go to youtube, type in David Lee Roth. They have clips of him doing those two songs with bluegrass bands.Do I like the CD?Actually, yeah I do.It's different but,in a way, funny.Reminds me of the CD's Hayseed Dixie put out.
