Lately I've been getting extremely bored after work, I get home around 4 and don't usually go to sleep 'til about 10, and I want to find something to kill my spare time (other than smoking pot!) So I was wanting some ideas, keep in mind I like to use my mind, and hands, something hands on, that involves concentration....just not to much ;)

I several ideas for you, see that I was in that same boat..
you can iether buy or go online to www.cooks.com
and starting making things from scratch and creating some new and exciting foods/deserts and share them amongst people at work or family, the holidays are around the corner you know,
or you can start painting on canvases, and have a ball
or you do what I am doing and learning to sew and make blankets and cool doggie jackects
or you can take up a inexpensive pottery class, and learn how to do that it also makes really nice gifts to hand out....
or you can start up a small but sucessfull gift basket business, or start making flower arrangements....
or you can join a club in your local town or city and get more involved....

There's always cross-stitch if you want something easy with several levels of skill involved. It's cheap, relaxing and you can actually make things to give away if you want. It's not something super-productive or involved, but it's a nice hobby that can be put down and picked back up with ease.
I also like making dream catchers.Again it's something easy and cheap to do.You can probably find a book or video at your library.
Crochet is pretty easy and can be useful if you get creative with it.Baby blankets are nice and easy,if you know someone that's expecting. It's a nice personal gift.
That's all I can think of that doesn't require more of an investment,or talent to start. If you like using your mind and hands, you might want to leave the pot alone. It could mess up both.

I recommend scrapbooking; it involves your hands and your mind and not too much concentration :) And it's always a plus if you have lots of free time.
If being artistic is just not your thing, you can try collecting stamps, collecting coins, jogging, yoga, photography, baking... The possibilities are endless; you just need to find something that will suit and interest you.

I like knitting! It keeps my hands busy, but doesn't take too much concenctration - I like to watch TV or listen to music when I knit. It's really easy to make scarves and stuff, and they make great presents for your favorite people! I just finished knitting a baby sweater for one of my friends and it took a TON of concentration, but it was definitely worth it.
