Get an attorney and file for a divorce. They will mail him the papers, then you go to court. With or without him, you can get a divorce.
I did. It only took 10 minutes and $200 bucks.

If he filed for divorce and you signed the papers, that should be the end of it. However, if you haven't both signed the papers, then you should get an attorney. Yes, you can get divorced even if he doesn't file the papers, but you need to know how. An attorney could do this for you. If you can't afford a private attorney, go to Legal Aid or ask at the court house for help with this. The people who work at the court house can give you information and point you towards who you should contact to get this done.

Yep, just file your own papers at the court house. He will get a coy and in a short amount of time it will be over and done with. The main thing is that the papers get filed.

Get a lawyer and file for divorce. File because of desertion.

Talk to a lawyer they are free for the first session. But most places if you have been seperated for 2 yrs or longer I think you can just file and be done. But see a lawyer they are free to just talk.See a few lawyers to see if they all say the same thing.Good luck.

i tried for almost 10 years. he didnt want a divorce even tho he filed for it when he was in prison.
if you can, go through legal aid. they seem to get it done no matter where you are.

as it was, to get the divorce, i had to let him claim my daughter, who does not belong to him. he thought that child support would stop when he went back to prison and it doesnt, so he has racked up 14,000 so far that he has to pay on a child that he knows is not his.

poetic justice i think

Don't do anything like this without the help of a really nasty lawyer.
