I have textured walls that have been patched and sanded flat in spots, how do I make the flat and texture match? I did not know about a textured paint roller, that helps thank you.

you either remove the texture by scraping, sanding etc
and make it all match to "Flat walls"
if the texure is light you can fill it up with a material of you choice to flat it up... (depend on the situation)

or just texture the repaired areas to match the texure..

good luck.

a sander or sandpaper is all I can really suggest. Unless you are just painting over it, then leave it, by a roller meant for textured walls and paint. Not sure if this is what you wanted to know but I hope it helps

If you want them to match, add some texture to your paint. You can buy a texture additive at any big box home improvement store.
