I remember buying an Atari 2600 (one of their original games consoles) around 1975. I bought an Atari 800 (their advanced personal computer, which used a tape recorder and had, if I remember, 8 kb of RAM) for my brothers for Christmas in 1977.

Atari was formed in 1972, with its first game Pong.
However, the first Atari 2600 console was released in 1976.
I got mine six years later, even before I was in kindergarten. ^_^
