Well, I'm British, and I would like to think I have a sexy voice, I think maybe because we tend to pronounce our words clearly and precisely, but not all the British accents are clear, I think you are thinking more on the Queens English, anyhow, I think I would agree with you. I am not sure James Bond is the reason behind most Non British love our sound, but who am I to say. I am glad you like it though, you got great taste.

Ok. Which James Bond?
One was Scottish, One Irish and one was an Australian ....not sure about any others (have not really watched).
I'm English and have had a taxi driver in LA fix me and my accent as an Australian, Sth African, New Zealander and so on.
There is no one English accent, just as there is no one American accent. And, as for the 'sexiness' of an accent, it is in the ears of the interpreter and what they chose to endow it with.
Sash.

No James Bond! (not a fan)
For me it's because my beloved Gramma is british, and it reminds me of her speaking and all my relatives we keep in touch with so good associations there.....
I also personally think it sounds cool...the lilt and cadence of the words give a musical impression....i CAN'T STAND french or french accents, so this must be my personal preference of 'charming' and 'sexy'.....

I guess it's all a matter of personal choice.
People from differing countries are attracted to different elements of the spoken language.
If an American finds an English accent attractive it won't follow that every other nationality will.
I'm English and I'm attracted to the southern states accent.
It's different strokes for different folks!

James Bond had a very heavy scottish accent, Edinburgh to be precise, he sounds about as English as Saddam Hussain.

I am from England and I find loads of accents sexy. I guess it is just what you associate with the accent.

Seriously, a cultured accent, wherher English or Southern (kin y'all say Shelby Foote?), New Englander or even New York, is attractive because it is intelligent.
