how do you find the points when you have the slope and some of the points. but you need to find out more points for a graph??(Im in eight grade reg. math)

for example, the slope is -3.5. points are -4, 5. what ae the other points?? is there a formula or something??

please only serious answers, my teacher is retired from the army...i think you know what that means.

p.s. sorry for putting this on polls, but a lot of people come here and i need an answer asap!

Hi, I just started 9th grade so I know what you mean about teachers. I 'm not sure but I think the answer is -1. Glad to help!!!!

I think you need to use the point slope formula: x2-x1 divided by y2-y1 so that would be -4-(-3)/5-5
