I have reunited with my highschool sweetheart. We have been seeing each other for a year now. He has a girlfriend and I have a significant other. He has told me he's never stopped loving me and I know I've never stopped loving him. Lately he's been acting like he's too busy for me. He used to call and send txt messages, now he says he doesn't like to txt anymore he wants me to just call. Sometimes he doesn't answer when I call but I always answer the phone whether its 2 or 3am in the morning. Now he's incarcerated I feel that maybe I should be as cold hearted to him as he has been to me just to let him see how it feels. But then again I'm not that kind of person. What should I do? (Confused)

seems as if he's trying to hide you and has mixed feelings for you and his girlfriend mabey he is confused and doesn't know what to do umm i would prob talk to him and ask him but honestly you shouldn't be hiding this i mean he has a girlfriend and you have a significant other so if your with someone whats the point of trying this just keep your relationship with him as frineds

Maybe this was never meant to be. You both have significant others, and it's obvious he's pushing you away. Be true to the one you're with now. That means honesty. If you want to stay with him, work things out. If things were great between you and your mate, you wouldn't have been happy to hear from your old flame. Now that he is incarcerated, and making himself unavailable in other ways, you should read the handwriting on the wall and let this rekindled flame burn out, like it obviously is. Yes, many people would get excited if an old love came back into their lives. But, at what expense? Hurting the one you are with now? By the way, if he your old boyfriend is in jail, why exactly do you want to get back with him in the first place? If things are that bad between you and your current mate, do you want to leave him for a criminal? Reassess your relationship with your current mate who deserves all of your attention, but steer clear of the old boyfriend who is in jail.
