Good question.... I have no clue. Does anyone?
Although... I don't understand why any team that are technically called Tigers would call themselves "War Eagles". They aren't worthy of being called Tigers anyway. Everyone knows that LSU players are the REAL TIGERS. So the War CHICKENS can call themselves and anyone else whatever they would like.
GEAUX TIGERS!!! (The REAL Ones)!
POWER OF CONVICTION--- If the War Chickens are sooo great, how come they only won by a few LUCKY points??? I'm not trying to be a sore loser at all, but I KNOW the game of football and those bad calls had ALOT to do with the outcome of that game. Anyone who knows the game of football, whether a LSU fan or not, knows this. For Auburn to have kicked *ss it would have had to have been a fair game. That could have been either team's win if the officials would have let them play the game by the rules. OH, and I'm a Longhorns fan, too.
GONZO DOG---- You are too funny. I still don't get the "corndog" thing, but if that's the best y'all can come up with, that's awesome. And the "War Eagle" cry is not comparable to "Geaux Tigers". Y'all aren't called "The Eagles". Maybe I will just do some research on it, since you can't give me any educated answers. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!

Tara A -- Auburn University, fans, and most knowledgeable opponents - in and out of conference, know that "War Eagle" is an Auburn battle cry (similar to Geaux Tigers).
No wonder LSWho fans are called corndogs. Too much time at the snack bar.

TARA A-- why did Auburn woop LSU's a-s-s- and LSU couldn'teven score a point? So the real Tigers from Auburn most have won.
Sincerely, a Longhorns fan. Go Texas! 2005 National Champs.
