OK, OK, I'm new to motorbiking, but have replaced a number for break disc's and pads on cars.

The bike is an MZ Skorpoion 660 2001. It can only be the front break and the rear is a foot break, and is hydraulic. I know how to remove the caliper and pads, I'm just not 100% sure of what's req'd to swap out the lever.

I believe your bike has a Brembo front master cylinder. All thats required is to remove the lever bolt and swap the adjuster. If you can change pads, you can change the lever.

Hmmm as people have said it is a VERY simple job, but if you are daunted by all things mechanical here is the full details:

at the fat end of the lever, where it connects to the handlebar is a bolt going through the lever. On the underside is a 10mm nylock nut, remove this first, then unscrew the bolt. Your lever will now fall off.

Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions.
So we'll know if it's cable or hydraulic.
Refine your question - front or rear brake lever?
Unbolt the old one and install the new one. What do you want to know?

Before installing the new lever - look at how the brake light switch works (the lever pushes against it). Be careful not to break the switch.

It's possibly the third simplest mechanism known to mankind. Find pivot bolt. Unscrew bolt. Remove old lever. Place new lever in housing. Replace bolt. Ride bike.

Oh, and it's spelled b-r-a-k-e.

I don't want to appear condescending, but if you need to ask, then maybe its a job for a mechanic.
