you are on 1. when you are adding, you are going up. if you are adding 1 to 1, you are going to go up 1. so you stop at 2. so that is how you prove 1+1=2

You must start by defining 1 as unity. Which means that the symbol 1 denotes a single unit.

Next define 2 as denoting 2 units

next define the + as an operator that combines the symbols into the sum of the parts.

Next, define = as denoting the outcome of an operation.

then 1 + 1 =2

LOGICALLY:
u have one cow in ur farm....if u buy another cow and put it in ur farm....by counting, u can conclude that u have 2 cows

MATHEMATICALLY:
1. (1+1)=2
2-(1+1)=0
2-2=0
0=0 TRUE
2. let x=1
x+x=2
2x=2
x=2/2
x=1 TRUE

this is a really dumb question.
