honestly...what do you think...and let's try to get beyond the first
female anchor ever thing....I just want to know if you think someone
is worth 20 million a year with her talent(s), man OR woman.
Is her chirpy, tupperware-lady, airline stewardess, hug a Koala Bear and Coach handbag temperament really worth 20 mill?

BTW, I've read a bit about Katie lately, and its said that while on the Today show she boasted about her 15 mill contract, and was more than happy to have the general public know she was making that much. Evidendally she was thrilled to have it aired
in the papers.
Turns out it was the same with her CBS 20 mill contract. She supposedly made sure everyone, including the press, was well aware of that fact, even though her publicist wanted her to keep in under wraps
so as not to tarnish her girl-next-door image.
She's far more materialistic than you folks
would believe, and she's supposedly a terror to work with according to staff that have had the unfortunate experience of working with her over the years.
The "America's sweetheart" image is just a concerted front.

another BTW, she's guaranteed that 20 mill
a year for 7 years, so if CBS chooses to let her go, they are stuck with the whole shebang......
