That's like saying you have a broken leg but hate casts. If you have an eye infection, you need to get the antibiotic or whatever it is the doctor has prescribed for you, to the site of the infection, which is your eye. The only other way to treat it is to take some kind of very powerful antibiotic that will wipe out every microbe in your system, good or bad, and leave you wide open to hundreds of interesting infections and illnesses when you stop taking it. Doesn't sound like a great alternative, does it? So stop being such a sissy and get busy with the eye drops.

you need to use the eye drops. I used to have a problem giving them to my daughter and her doctor taught me a trick.
Lay on your back
Close your eyes
Put the drop (or drops) of medication in the inside corner of your eye (with your eyes closed
Then simply open your eye
The drop will leak into your eye without the "shock"

your general practitioner maybe able to give you some antibiotics which you can take orally so you don't have to use eye drops so go and see your doc asap
