Is it anything, including the test print? Try the test print and use the troubleshooting feature. That should help you narrow down the cause.
If you are able to print a test print without problem. It could be the print job is too big for your printers memory. Does the print job have a lot of pages or graphics? You might have to make it smaller by printing only a few pages at a time.

It really depends on what kind of printer you have. try restarting your computer if that doesnt work turn off the printer for 30 seconds and if THAT doesnt work check all the cables. Also make sure your port is correct. to do this go to the printer properties from printers and faxes click on the ports tab and if you have a USB connection it is usually called USB002 ad if you don't have a USB it is usually LPT1 but you should check what port it uses in the manual if that is all correct and it doesnt work you should get a new printer, call the manufacturer, or use the window troubleshooting guide.

Switch off your printer and turn it on again. Now it should print the prints which you gave earlier else check for the connections of the printer with your PC else Try printing the test page which is available when you click page setup/Print and if you get ur test page succesfully printed then check the document you are trying to print, it might be corrupted or something . If all else fails Hit
CTL+ALT+DEL.

many things can be happening. When you print make sure that the printer is set to the printer you are trying to print to. Also make sure it is installed to the computer and well connected.

It's means your computer and printer are not communicating. Check the cables, see if the printer is on, make sure your driver are connected. Also make sure you see if you pick the right printer in the Printer and Faxes Section.

Try reinstalling the printer drivers onto the computer. It's on the disk that should have accompanied the printer. Otherwise, you can probably get it off the web. Just go to the manufacturer's webpage (e.g. hp.com).

I think your computer is having trouble detecting the printer. Try unplugging the cable, and plugging it back in to redetect it. Try plugging into a different usb port.

There could be not enough ink. If your printer is old, you should get a new one. There could be cables loose. You might need to restart your computer.
