Were you (or someone you know) born on a "leap year", on Feb. 29th? Do you celebrate your birthday on Feb. 28th or March 1st?

lol.
i read a book called leap day. and it's about a girl going through her "fourth" bday... actually she's sixteen but it's only her 4th bday.
good book.
and in the book, she was like a member of this group of people who were all born on feb 29th. so anyways i think there is a real club that has people who are born that day.
but yeah...

contained in the 1880 opera "The Pirates of Penzance" by skill of Gilbert and Sullivan, the unlucky hero Frederick became born on February twenty ninth and has been apprenticed to a pirate crew "till his twenty-first birthday". when you consider that he only has an ideal birthday once each 4 years, he realises to his horror that this suggests he could proceed to be a pirate till he's 80 4 years previous! The Victorian audiences loved this style of wacky tutorial humour. and evidently, in presently, articles of apprenticeship were properly conventional to be absolutely legally binding in accordance to their correct wording.
