A will is a private thing, especially if the person is not yet deceased. When my mother died, only my sister and I were given copies of the will, because we were the only people mentioned as beneficiaries of her estate. My nephew was mentioned as a beneficiary only if my sister and I both predeceased my mother. He did not receive a copy. As long as a person is still alive, it is their right to keep the details of their will private, if they so choose. Unless the person is deceased and you are a beneficiary, you have no more right to read the will than a stranger and a stranger has no right.

No, you don't have the right to read anyone's will except your own. If someone has a will and they pass, the copy will be at the lawyers or in a safe deposit box or in their house. Anyhow, the will goes through probate, court...can take up to 2 yrs. and the state decides who gets what according to the will after all creditors and other bills have been paid.

I am not sure on this but if you were mentioned in your grandads will you would have been told about it before now, if not, I don't think you have the right.
As for you uncle's will you definitely do not have the right as he is not yet dead. If he tells you himself what's in it fine, but otherwise his solicitor will refuse to tell you.
