If you use it correctly it is better. You must use the skin rev-er upper first, that is the trick to it. I have been using it for a year now and I swear by it. It hides any blemishes or discolorations well also. It stays on all day. My complexion has cleared up also. It's like the powder dries up any blemishes and they go away faster.

I have splotchy skin and blemishes here and there and I love my Bare Essentials. I hate the weight of liquid foundation. I do care this around in my purse if I am going out just for touch ups if I need to. I suggest getting some off eBay and trying it. You can decide after that if you want to join and get it every so many months through the mail. Just a suggestion!

it depends on what u like...i use mac liquid foundation and it never clogs my pores and it makes my face look flawless all day...in other words i have full coverage with it all day to me powders seem to not give u all the coverage u need and to me seems like i would have to keep on reapplying it! anyways i havent used bare esscentials some ppl say it works great for them i say u try it if u dont like it then switch to something u like!

Try the new YSL perfect touch liquid foundation, it's SOOOO sheer but evens out blotchy skin. it comes with a brush so the application is easy and it looks flawless

I think it does. ANd it doesn't get all greasy like liquids. It is good for your skin so you can apply as much as you want and buff it in. For some reason, I have a huge red splotch on my cheek, and bare minerals covers it right up! I HIGHLY recommend it!

I liked bare escentuals but it was cakey on my dry face...so I started using Arbonne liquid foundation...its light and not sticky...and it covers very well and looks very natural...so for me liquid was better...I also use a light bronzer over my liquid...good luck!!

Yeah, powder is waaaaaaaaaaaay better for your skin than the icky liquid foundation.

i think it's only better if you only need a light foundation. It is obviously better for your skin, but i can't see how well it woudl cover acne spots and marks, dark circles etc. i am thinking of only using it when iwork out so i get some coverage but it doesn't seep into my pores.

I think it does, and it isn't as thick a liquid foundation...it looks more natural.
