French Psychologist. He studied chidren's cognition abilities and their intelligence. One really good contribution is helping educators at preschool and grade school levels understand children at certain ranges of ages that their cognition level should fit the criteria within the limits of their intelligence provided for by his chart. His theory was later criticized by some woman Psychologist that Piaget only study well to do children and that it seems unfair to children, say, who grew up in the hood etc. It seems to make sense though if you understand his theory is all about. His colleague, Kolhberg, later came up with similar theory where he emphasized on moral understanding within the similar ranges of ages. You should check into this, if you like Psychology. It's interesting. I am closed to getting a degree on Psychology myself. Good enough, yes?

"Piaget viewed children as little philosophers, which he called tiny thought-sacks and scientists building their own individual theories of knowledge. Some people have used his ideas to focus on what children cannot do. Piaget, however, used their problem areas to help understand their cognitive growth and development."
