doing biology essay and am having trouble finding the info. have found the diabetes problem with how the membrane has a prob with the protein carriers but can't find another example- please help!

ha ha I'm doing the same essay, got given the assignment today, are you in Newcastle College?
If you goto a search engine and type in "abnormalities of cell membranes" within speach marks then it will come up with a list of problems but some off the top of my head are:-
cystic fibrosis, scyzophrinia (can't spell) sicle cell anemia and alzhimers (again can't spell)
there are LOADS of problems out there and I am sure you will find some more.
