No it's a lie. You just have to get headphones. Phone speakers are crap and tinny. What's the point of listening to music through them?!

I don't know about any code but you can buy a small speaker for the d500 that you attach to the side, but it's not really worth it.

No you can't.I have the d500 and got the speaker free with it,but it doesn't sound any different to when I listen without it

you shpuld have got a speaker that plugs into the earphone bit , it sounds much louder with it
