I know what you mean, they banned drinking alcohol such as beer on the terraces, but if someone wants to get drunk, then at half time they will drink 5 or 6 pints and then go back to the terraces. I dont have a problem with people drinking at matches, its just when they do it irresponsibly and do stupid things, and the minority ruin it for everyone else.

The ban is yet differently of 'them' controlling 'us'. particular there have been spates of alcohol suitable difficulty linked with soccer followers yet that pales into insignificance while in comparison with golf equipment and bars, the place all of us is killed each and every weekend. soccer golf equipment could be allowed to acquire gross sales in the path of the sale of alcohol, particularly specified factors for the followers to savor a drink mutually, could see plenty needed money injection into our sport. The stadia we've and the subsequent policing is plenty more desirable from the 70's/80's, while the ban replaced into invoked, so it may be much less stressful to root out difficulty makers and impose a ban on them without this blanket ban against us all. the way forward is to enhance the ban and enable the persons tutor they could behave themselves, that way you do no longer cope with people like babies yet greater importantly the golf equipment are on top of problems with who beverages of their stadium. you're able to discover self policing is a great way of scuffling with difficulty, as they does not desire to lose those 'fan bars'.

Now what kind of fun would that be? You have to drink at matches. Like sitting at home, with your pizza and beer on game days watching the tv. Besides, they make to much money, to take it away. LOL.... Football and beer.. just go together!

I accept that drinking is a problem BUT must the majority (who can drink responsibly) suffer at the hands of a minority, yet again? Isnt that the same as giving in to terrorists?

because they make a hell of a lot of money from it and its not necessarily the drink that causes violence at football matches, personally being a Saints fan I'd say blame the Pompey fans!

It's not alcohol the problem, it's those who shouldn't drink it. And I don't think you should punish all because of a few.

. . . by not banning alcohol at our football grounds, the English continue their extended invitation to the Scots - and honestly, we won't laugh at your kilts, bagpipes, haggis, sporrans and stuff . . .
