It's hard to understand why ANYONE would want a nose ring, but if that's what turns you on, go for it. As long as what you want to do doesn't cause harm to anyone else, it is perfectly appropriate.
My right to suggest what is or isn't in good taste doesn't extend to your nose. That's entirely in your territory. On the other hand, you are perfectly within your rights to say I look weird because I don't have any body piercings.

I dont think so. If someone wants to get something done ... no matter what the age as long as over the age of 18 .. they have the right to do it and they should do what they want.
At the same time though you should be prepared for those people who think differently and will judge you on that nose ring.

Why does age matter? If you want a nose ring get it. 30's not ancient. I believe we only live once, so do whatever you can before the end (as long as it's not harming someone else-obviously). Enjoy yourself and don't worry about what other people think.

heck no... it would prolly look real cute. and if you just put a stud in (hoops are tacky unless you have the right nose) it would look good just beware that after you have it in for a year or so it is really hard to get that hole to close up.. I have had mine for 5 years and can never take it up from the big hole in my nose. IT LOOKS FUNNY... only when it is out though... But go for it i know lots of 30 and older people with theres done....

I personally don't think anyone should have a nose ring. There are medical reasons why you should not do it, but if you really want one then that is up too you.
I also think it would depend on your lifestyle and career. I don't think that too many bosses in high profile businesses want their employees coming in with piercings anywhere but in the ears.

No I do not think it is inappropriate to get one, however there may be some instances where it is inappropriate to wear it (like at the office). Use your best judgement.

It is only if you percieve it that way. Now the question you need to ask yourself is...
Is this a good idea for me to do. The answer weighs on two things. 1. Is it something you really want for you? 2. Is is going to interfere with your life (i.e. are you going to get fired for violation of dresscode, are you going to be bumped from the PTA, etc.)
If it is what you want, and it isn't going to cause you any grief, then why not?

Of course not! Nose rings can be beautiful. Although I did talk a friend of mine out of getting one. She wanted a small emerald with a diamond. I told her that it would look like a jeweled booger.

no i dont think its inappropriate at any age to do something that will express your feelings the only time it may be inaprropriate is if u have a job somewhere that would make it inappropriate
