I will meet with my girlfriends father. I am excited a lot. My question is what does Korean parents like what don't like? I love her too much. I have good degree from college.
Please answer if you are Korean or know something about Korea.

hmm,,
you know that asian parents are really strict right?
all parents want their son and daughter to succeed,,
so show them that you will make her happy and that you really love her,,^^
these are the things to remember:
-get them a little something (this is kinda like traditon, when you enter someone's house, especially the people you havent met, or have not seen for long time)
the gift may include gift card, fruit basket, and etc.
- don't be too comfortable,,
i know it sounds cruel, but they would definitiely love a man who has manner and respect. so even if you dont know much, just act like you are interested or help our a little things.
- learn commonalities between you and her family members, this will give greater bonds.
-willing to learn. because you have different cultural aspects, you wouldn't understand the way they see it, so try to learn.
-and learn little korean phrase,, they will think you are very thoughtful to even give it a try.
(when you are having a meal with them) always remember to thank them before and after the meal, always be respectful by trying lots of dish (dont just eat what you like).

My ex gf was Korean.
1. I learned you have to be respectful. Koreans have this thing about respecting the elderly. So don't act like her dad is your friend. Always be polite.
2. Always take you shoes off in their house.
-Just be polite and act like yourself. Don't try too hard to be liked. I found Koreans to be very polite as long as you're honest. Try to eat kimchi. They love it when Americans eat Korean cuisine. I guess it shows a sign of respect and compatibility. G' luck man.

Be respectful, polite and always maintain eye contact. If they are American, it won't be so rough, if they are from Korea, I am telling you now, they may hate you just because you aren't Korean. I am assuming they want to meet you though. I wish you the best of luck and much happiness.

what race are you? do you have a respectable job? Do you make good money doing it? are you clean? make sure you don't smell funny. might wanna curb your excitement for now since you're dealing with daddy. always look them in the eye when speaking. no stupid jokes. don't try and be cute and say something in korean just to try and impress them? please, don't. be yourself and act appropriately. whatever you're fed, don't keep asking what's this, what's this and what's this. gets quite annoying.
