Try to understand where the person is coming from .. he really likes you and you should tell him that you are really flatered. But after telling him this I would tell him that you are just not interested in him at the moment ... explain to him why you arent but also tell him you know there are other girls out there he will like and who will like him back for who he is. Basicly just use common sense and try to break it to him easily.

I hoped I helped!

first, confront the man and ask him why he is following you. doing that is not being mean. inform him it gets annoying; surely, he understands that. if that doesnt work, there's a need to be mean so he can absorb it. if it still doesnt work and he's pushing you past your limits, completely ignore him. report it to the police if he shows any signs of harassment. it also happens to me. there's this guy i really dont like, and he keeps on staring when he sees me, follows me around, and sends me txt messages. i tried to be patient, but subtlety doesnt work for him so being mean is my option. i carefully pick the not-so-rude words that i think will hurt him, perpetually rejects his invitations and effort to make friends (i know friendship is just his excuse), to no avail. he just laughs it off. believe me, i feel like shooting the man just so he'll stop following me around and stop sending me love notes and creepy messages. well, seems like he is enjoying the attention, any attention. so what i do is ignore him, his messages, everything, even if the effort is killing me. i transferred to a different location, but the messages dont stop. i hope my case is not like yours, dear.

It's hurtful if you go up to them and say I don't like you, so just leave me alone. I like this girl, but I don't want to tell her because I'm afraid she'll see me as a weird person. You have to explain to him thoroughly that you don't like him and tell him that you can be friends instead. Make something out of it.

You must spare them the humiliation of rejection aloud by "knowing" that they are aware already of this fact. You must not be ignorant in the way of accually believing that he may not know.HE KNOWS but , your passive personality feeds him into hopes. You need to elliminate this window of hope by your own actions, not that of anothers.FIRST YOU OBTAIN A POLICE CONSTABLES BUISNESS CARD[eisaly obtained at cop shop].then you hand it to the stalker and say".i think someone is following me , let me know".THAT WILL SET THE STAGE FOR A HUMOROUS BUT VERY INTELLAGENT AWARENESS OF IGNORANCE AND SELF ASSERTAVNESS.he will then know he isnt as persuasive as he was planning on being and realise his place in the food chain.

There's not one way that you can say it without being mean. Just tell them what you want and how you feel about it. Just be honest!

You don't owe this person anything, if you don't like them, in the same way that they like you, simply tell them in a polite manner that you do not want a relationship with them. Until you do this, the annoyance, will only get worse.

Just tell them, there is no way not to be mean so just say: Look I don't like, and I will never will, so leave me alone, I mean its not like you will feel bad cause he wont talk to you anymore, everyone gets let down so he should expect it.
