Where to find one set of house plans, inexpensively, for modest 1000-1400 SF wood-frame house, to learn from?

Also what copyrights apply in this case?

go to ur local building dept. and ask for them.......they keep all house plans that have been permitted for a yr.....after that they throw them away.......get to know the inspector and ask him/her to set them aside for u.........

The house plans for my house say they are copyright and for the exclusive use of the company, blah blah blah...
