It's hard to understand what you mean from your question. There are a few scenerios that I can see:
1 - If she is in the town with you and wants you to cash a personal check that is drawn on an account from her home country, you can do it if you trust her, but I'd wait for a while for it to clear.
2 - If she is in the town with you and someone else gave her a check and she wants to sign it over to you so you can cash it, again, you can do it if you trust her. However, a better idea would be to cash it at the bank that the account is drawn on.
3 - If she is out of the country and you are getting her mail which contains checks and she needs the money, I wouldn't see anything wrong with you depositing them into her account for her. you will not be able to just cash them if they are in her name.
Good luck!

DO NOT DO THIS....unless you really, really, really trust her. Basically she would go wtih you to the bank and instead of endorsing it, she'd write, "pay to_______'and your name.
However, if shes from out of the country your bank would cash it and not know for sure that it will go through on the other end. People do this as a scam-- they get cash from you and the check turns out to be bad, and it is deducted from YOUR account.
OH, wait, see I thought She was FROM out of the country and was in your town.
What you CAN do for her is go to her bank and get some blank deposit slips. Get her account number. Fill out the slip, and then take the checks, and on the back write, "For desposit only, Checking account # ___________" PUt both in an envelope and drop it in the little box either outside the bank (shouldb e marked 'depository" or in side the lobby. Then you dont have to deal with customer service.

decrease the fee of the social gathering. Sorry yet situations are stressful and basically clarify on your son. Why are not you baking the cake besides? you're able to capture a sale on cake mixes, this is greater low-fee and handmade is often better.:) Why is it costing plenty? you have no longer have been given the money, so do no longer do it precise now, you additionally could make it up at Christmas while issues (and that i'm particular they'll) get better and your greater settled after the fee of the flow. Is that the superb fee on shifting you're able to discover? if so, and you have that plenty stuff, promote some issues on Craigslist and do away with it for it money now somewhat of paying to have it hauled. That sounds like a extreme cost (from a shifting enterprise ?) to head somebody right into a $seven-hundred.00/month apartment. Double verify your movers...NOW and do you have any buddies that could help with autos? additionally, Craigslist has a sectional advert for "loose products" and "products needed". i could have already been on that sight until now I went without refrigerator. you does not have faith how plenty loose stuff people particularly supply away because of the fact this is much less stressful to basically supply it away, then pay the better expenses to have it moved....get it? have you ever contacted your utility agencies and asked them to paintings with you on a bother plan? they'll or their think too. are you able to babysit on the weekends for others? good success to you...

Without a power of attorney that gives you permission it would be illegal. Can she FAX you a POA? Also, do you know her well and are the checks drawn on a local bank. There are alot of scams that start like this.

Why didn't she take enough Traveler's Checks with her in the first place??
Does she want you to deposit her checks (how did you get them?) in your account, then wire her the money? If so, tell her not until they clear. How do you know she's good for it?
Sounds fishy to me.

She has to sign the check at the back and you want to be sure you trust her so she doesn't sue you or anything.
