So other animals know they are harmful. It is a defense mechanism. Many animals you see with bright colors like that are warning you "dont eat me i am harmful" - like frogs, other insects, snakes.

They are angry and when they get angry the blood makes the body turn red therefore red ants

red ants are red because balck ants are black and they were made that way.
