I do not think much of anything is free though many things that are low cost (in terms of money, effort or whatever) are good. However the best things in life usually cost very much in time, effort and or money. Certainly if you only consider cash then there are more good things in life that are free than if you consider other costs. still that would not mean the best things in life are free - just some of them.
Often people will talk about love and health being free. That is not really so. I had to purchase my own land so I could grow organic food and also healthy non-poisoned produce at stores is expensive as is my Bally's total fitness membership (it is actually a good deal). It helps to live in the country for the fresh air and relaxing environment and that costs. Just eating which one must do to live and thus be healthy costs money. Then comes love. People talk about love without conditions as being the best love. Well if it exists it is very perverted and nothing I want a part of. Even for my children my love has limits and some conditions. Normally for healthy people to gain love from another requires effort. Much of what you do to gain that love will cost money. People show their love with money or things that cost money. Even when dating one must pay for gas to go visit a loved one. if you stopped those visits the love would die off. Certainly if you like many, confuse sex with love, then i state that sex has a cost in cash or gifts or effort. women often use sex to buy love. how long would that love last for the man if the sex ended for no good reason or even for a good reason.
