Some sort of food, like cupcakes or brownies. Or maybe a gift certificate to the local pizza place... almost everyone who moves orders a pizza at some point during the move!

Maybe you can create a welcome basket.

Complete with map / phone numbers of the surrounding churches, police dept, landscapers you may use in the area, post office, etc around the neighborhood and newsletter with the community subdivision meetings. Depending on the dynamics (kids, ages, work schedules) you can even give them a "good neighbor booklet" in which you have coupons to babysit, have your kid wash their car, cooked meal, etc. Just a thought.

Why not take your family over and just introduce yourselves and welcome them to the neighborhood. Offer to help them locate anything they may need in the neighborhood.
