I was doing yard work and thought I saw a leaf stuck in a web when I went to move it IT moved. I was wondering if there is a certain site I can go to and describe it or look thru pictures. The legs andbody look purplish blue, the back looks like the back of a crab (two pointy things on each side, and two pointy things on the very back) the back acctually looks like a leaf is stuck to it but the colors are differant than any I've ever seen. If you look at the spider upside down it also looks like a white cats face. Any ideas?

I truly have not in any respect heard of the different, yet that would not recommend some thing. there's a species said as the Brown widow, so that's accessible that there is are eco-friendly, red or white ones, too. yet I doubt it.

http://www.whatsthatbug.com is an *excellent* website! Not only do they have some photos on their website, but you can write in as well and hopefully they will be able to help you with the ID. Check it out and good luck in IDing your spider!
