A,
After being in a relationship for a long time this happens. Just keep doing what you are doing to keep this guy interested in you. Don't call him to often. When you do, only talk to him briefly and make sure that you end the conversation first in high spirits all the time. Just like when you are watching a good T.V. series and the show gets riveting all of a sudden then put on a commercial. That's how it should feel for him. In the meantime, for you, keep yourself busy and open for other people. You might find somebody who will interest you more. If you really love this guy then I suggest read the book titled "Why Men Love Bitches." I am a male and I learned a lot from this book about women that is.

It sound to me like you just got tired of him mistreating you, and I don't blame you. Men can be real jerks but as soon as you put your foot down and begin treating them the same they have been treating up everything changes. Then they kinda understand what we've been putting up with. If you feel like your unhappy, is it really worth it to waste you time with this guy ? You have to respect your self and don't let no guy put you down, they know how do this very easily. It comes natural to them, but you decide how a man should treat you from the very beginning of the relationship. If you let them mistreat you and walk all over you they'll just keep on do it. My advise don't consider marriage until you know for afact you can be happy and him changing for sure.

He is just missing his fool.I have used this analogy before: If you have ever seen a dog chase a car,he runs and runs after it,but if it stops he turns around and goes about his business. Its the thrill of the chase they enjoy,if ever they feel they have you, they will begin to look for someone they think they can't have. This never changes.I think its their nature or something.Move forward in your life, not backwards!! He couldn't treat you right when he had you so what makes you think he can now?

girl iam go through something similar to that now.stick with your gut feelling that you have now.just be glad there were no kids involved.thats the cycle of life anyway when yiu move on there they go. a relationship should not stress you or make you question your worth.there is a man out there that knows how to treat you.who needs a two faced coward in their life to confuse life.

He is only doing all that b/c you stopped paying attention to him... and he is worried that you are paying attention to someone else... I bet as soon as you start giving him the time of day he is going to start doing the same ole thing...

If you don't feel good about it now .. it won't feel better later. DO NOT get married to this guy. Move on .. like he told you to months ago. Good Luck! :)
