Greetings!

The school of Aristotle, was more logic based. As Plato was theoretical.
Plato developed a trust for mankind based upon his ability to think and reason, thus he created his "Ideal World"
Aristotle, and his reasoning was to view an event backward and find the motivating factor which encouraged mankind to take one road as opposed to the other.
Sort of the real father of psychology.
I would then find Aristotle's argument has more credibility.

Good Luck

Plato basically had a dualistic view of a mind-body dichotomy where the mind experiences the world via the body but gets a sort of shadow image rather than a clear view and you can only experience the truth of reality within the mind.
Aristotle takes the view that the physical world is the real one and the mind can be clouded unless you lead a physically and morally balanced life. Thus the physical world is real.

I consider Plato's view to match my own the more closely and therefore is more believable to me.

He surely offered Aristotle an elephant as a recent as quickly as. Plato is in simple terms marvelous. all the above philosophers are magnificent. Too undesirable we've not got any of Socrates' actually writings.
