A technical school is the school that let you have hands on training for a specific career and a community college is a college that requies you to take general education classes/vocational training before getting a degree or a certificate. It depends on your budget one that you can afford. I choose the community college because I wanted a degree even an associates is nothing compared to someone who got a Bachelor's degree and employers don't care these days. They want EXPERIENCE. Someone may have all the training , but that person might not be able to have a job without anyone giving them a chance. vocational schools don't place their students anymore. The students have to interview with the companies that vocational school has to offer.

A technical school gives you a practicality degree that will allow you to work in a technical field. A Community College will give you an associates (2-year) degree which allows you to get some jobs, or transfer on to a 4 year University to finish a bachelors. It depends on your career goal as to which one is better.
