why are females asking strangers if they r prego? we have Dr's and Tests? this is not a 3rd world country.

every time i see another "am i pregnant?" question i get SO irritated. why don't they just get a test? like we can accurately tell them yes or no. or when they tell you when they had their last period and when they had sex...like I'm supposed to know when you ovulate? i stopped answering those questions a while ago.

sometimes we like to hear feedback from real people. yes, it's very easy to get a test somewhere and to a certain extent i agree with you. they ask for different reasons. 99.9% of women ask friends and family before taking a test anyway, maybe these women have no one to talk to and are depending upon the kindness of strangers for support during a confusing time. it's emotional especially if you want a baby. you love to hear/read.."yes, it's possible" a million times! it's just for support. it may be annoying to some but i totally understand how they feel. i've been there. hell, i'm there now and already pregnant. my family and friends are already getting tired of my pregnancy questions. so i ask people here and on other pregnancy forums for advice and about their experiences, etc.

You're right to question this, and it seems it's highly likely it's
because some women feel they have no one else they can ask, or don't know who to ask.
Yes, we have doctors, clinics and pregnancy tests, and great they are too, but not everyone has easy access to them.
It worries me that vulnerable people might get unhelpful information, which is why those who do have useful, accurate, to the point facts and advice can offer genuine help by sharing it.

I dont like the ' do you think im preggers answeers' see i asked a good question... how soon did someone feel this, advice on this and that... see this is what a useful community is... i agree if someone thinks they might be preggers unless its a reasonable question about pregnacy home detection get a flippin test or call a doctor!

I haven't researched it, but I think the girls asking if they are prego are the same ones that keep asking 'how do I know if the guy likes me' question. I know I've seen that question at least 50 times!!!

I personally dont feel anything wrong in asking that question. You cant get a doctor appointment right away like you get from yahoo answers. we feel comforted seeing people answering us and sharing their experience. Ofcourse ultimately its the doctors that we approach to confirm but meanwhile we want to share it with others.

maybe they are young and they have noone else to go to for guidence so they ask people who doesn't seek out their personal existance. Their isn't anything wrong "I think" for guiding assistance to others that need help, that is kind of what this web sight is all about isn't it?

Well why are you asking use? Obviously you have to have something to do so you judge everyone else. If you dont like to read the questions dont come to this site! If you dont like them why are you spend so much time reading what they say?

well of course there are doctors ,and test but some people dont have that advantage to talk to a docotor ,or they are just scared .Whast wrong with getting feed back from other people ?

IF YOU DONT LIKE THOSE KINDS OF QUESTIONS GET OFF THIS PARTICULAR SUBJECT...DID IT EVER OCCUR TO YOU THAT SOME PPL MAY NOT HAVE ANYONE TO TALK TO AND JUST WANT TO SEE IF HEY YEA I THINK YOU SHOULD GET A TEST OR NAH..I WOULD WAIT IT OUT OR WHATEVER...DONT BE SO JUDGEMENTAL...ITS RUDE..grrrr.
