Paris Hilton became famous beacuse of that sex tape "One Night in Paris" with her then boyfreind Rick Solomon. That famous sex tape catapulted her to fame and ever since then the Hollywood media and the paparazzi have been hooked on her ever since then and have been shoving her in our faces. Paris aint pretty nor is she talented. The only thing she seems to be talented at is making sex tapes and going through men like theres no romorrow. Shes SKANKY.

She is famous because people buy into it, they buy all these gossip magazines which makes Papparazzi take more pictures of her, Also she is not famous because she is rich, there are soo many other rich socialites with more money that are not famous. Lastly Paris made herself Famous by giving herself publicity, anything she does she calls the media and makes it a big deal, it's called self-promoting!!! She makes up her own Scandals, and alerts the media herself, you know she was the one who purposely "lost" her sidekick for publicity!!!

Paris Hilton ain't shiit.The only reason why her skinny azz is famous I think because of her daddy or granddaddy.She can't sing,she can't act,and she is a b***h and a hoe.I can't believe some people like and look up to her,I guess everybody has their own opinions.

Rich daddy, famous name, and the money and ability to get into ANYWHERE. She's a socialite/starlet. Years past she would have been running with the Astors, the Onassis' - the average joes like to know what the rich is doing. She has learned to keep the attention on herself.

because she's famous for being a Hilton first off, and second, shes gorgeous. I know many will disagree, but shes like the "queen bee" of hollywood.

Yeah, her grandparents were millionaires, dats where she got her wealth & fame from though, which makes her a nasty, spoilt & ugly like an ogre. She does not know what to do with the money. I think someone who can get in touch with her should advice her to donate it to charity and orphanages. She should become a hustler for once.Her sister, Nicky is far more better and doesn't drink drive like her.

She's a heiress to a fortune, and in this society, we like to glorify the rich and famous...sad, but true...that's how she got famous.
On another note, she did blow up when she debuted on the internet!
