I live in Oakland and I want to go to a community college that will give me the best opportunity to go to a University of California school. What are my best options?

I went to Cal. A lot of people who transferred in were from So Cal community colleges like Santa Monica and Pasadena.

But since you're in the East Bay, I'd recommend going to Diablo Valley or Vista. That way, you can take summer clases at Cal and UC Extension classes, too. Then you can slip your way into Berkeley.

Every community college in California has the same requirements for transfer to a UC. It really doesn't make a difference which one you go to because it will be the same amount of work no matter which one you choose. I would pick one that has a high transfer percentage and you feel most comfortable with. Good luck!

You know the best transfer school would be City College of San Francisco. Many students there are using CCSF to get into the UC system sideways and cheaply.

In my state, you may circulate right into a 4 year college after in basic terms one semester. whether, i could refer to somebody from admissions to confirm, yet i do no longer see why it can be a situation to circulate. the only concern could be you does no longer get an pals degree, yet that would desire to no longer be a huge deal in case you propose on getting a bachelors degree.
