I'm considering writing a book about what people would like to say to their doctors?

Is this interesting to you? Do you think it would be worthwhile? for example: How would you like doctors to speak with you. What changes would improve your relationship with your doctor?

Unfortunately I have a doctor that is more on holidays than in his office.I can never get a straight answer from him and when he does answer he's usually wrong.I'd like to drop his sorry @zz but we are going through a serious doctor shortage.I'd like to say to him "since we are the one's providing you with all your galavanting to other countries(in which I'll never see)the least you could do for us is be there for us.Do your friggin' job and earn what you get from us!LOL-Have a nice day!

Doctors don't care what patients say. No, because it will not change doctors, nor, would it change patients. Patients do not what to ask and they have trouble communicating with a professional, they feel intimidated, and are too afraid to ask questions of their physician.

Doctors have told me I'm a "rare patient," because I am not afraid
to talk to them and ask questions, and get answers, if I don't understand something. Very simple: the patient asks questions, the doctor answers. That's all that is necessary.

Here in the Netherlands I have a very good doctor, really. Maybe I should tell her that. In Switzerland however, where I used to live, doctors tend to think that they are "gods in white coats" (that's a common expression there), that they know everything and that the patient doesn't have a right to know specifics (or that he/she wouldn't understand anyway). As a farirly intelligent person I always found that very, very annoying!!

Sometimes I would like to ask my doctor if he got his degree out of a Happy Meal because he doesn't seem to know much more than me half the time.
