Why are SOME white people always complaining?

How come black people have the United ***** College Fund?
How come black people can say the "n" word and we can't?
How come black people have BET and we don't?

What is the point of all these questions, it's so annoying. It's not like the United ***** College Fund or BET is actually hurting anyone. Stop complaining!

*Note: I'm not saying I'm ashamed to be white, I just call it like I see it.

Whites complain for two reasons:

First: They have too much time on their hands.

It's like being white rich and depressed. Terry Bradshaw for example. Give me a break. Try being Black for 90 days and you would not be able to wait to for the time to be up. Just ride out the white thing and be happy.

Look, White people please quit complaining. You had a 400 year jump on Black Americans. Do you at least thisnk that there is so advantage that you had over Black Americans. Although slavery has been abolished over 130 years agao, is there even a slight chance that there are lingering psychological effects that Blacks in a negative manner?

Do you think that given all of the history of white oppression against Blacks that if anyone, we should be the ones complaining?

I'm not saying that Whites don't have a reason to complain, I'm saying that Whties have a lot more to be thankful for. So in other words, shut the F*ck up and just live your life and quit bitching.

Second: If you are not complaining you are the cause of the complaints. It's really a cover up.

I don't watch BET as I don't like the negative programming it shows. Also it is not a Black owned company but a white owned company VIACOM.

If you don't have a UNCF (United Caucasian College Fund), then how do so many White kids go to school? Maybe you don't call it that, but it is what it is! The fact is more white go to college that blacks no doubt about it. SO why do/should you concern yourslef with what we do or what we call it? You not only own the pie, but you won the bakery. All we are trying to do is get a few crumbs and you complain about that. Go to the UNCF website to get the information that you need and then ask why there is a UNCF.

I Am African-American and prefer to be called a Black American. If some Dutch or German descent person from South Africa came to the USA, wouldn't he be an African-American? Yes even more than I am.

The "N" word. Who invented it Blacks or Whites? Is it a compliment? Feel free to call a Black person N*gger, and feel free to get your azz beat. Why would you want to say it in the first place. Wait a minute people. I think it is time for a little lesson:

The United ***** College Fund does not go to black people. It goes to PREDOMINATELY black private colleges. It does not say that it goes to EXCLUSIVELY black colleges (of which there are none.) Anyone can apply and get accepted to these schools, regardless of color and anyone can get a scholarship to attend these schools.

BET WAS owned by a black entrepreneur, Bob Johnson, but he sold it to Viacom for 100 million dollars. So now, the BET that everyone is complaining about is actually owned by a "white" corporation.

And by the way--I still can't get into your country clubs.

Some people, no matter their skin color, will complain that others are getting special treatment.

American black people are trying to recover from a hateful time, when the word "******" was a debilitating insult (invoking abuse of power). They now use the word, a little, in parts of their own culture, developed here in America, to try to lessen the pain and powerlessness of it. But for a non-black person to use that word is to remind them of those hateful times, and thus they see it as an insult. If you think carefully, you might recall a word denoting white people that operates similarly.

BET was developed when nearly all white-owned stations and channels had no black culture programming. To this day, most channels and stations have mostly-white programming. BET aims to even the programming balance to something closer to the actual ethnicity balance in the country (at least for blacks and whites, not the other ethnicities here).

And the UNCF is a private organization that accepts private donations and distributes the money as they see fit. There are many such organizations that do the same with white people. They don't have the publicity that UNCF does, but they exist.

First Robert Johnson sold BET for $2.3 Billion not $100 million.

Secondly the organization that blacks have that are name blacks this black that. Well that what it is, it's for Blacks, at no time in their history have blacks and white shared the same culture, customs, religion are belief as everyone esle.

One thing people need to remember that we are different, Mexicans, and Asian are different. People shouldn't worry about what others do, because that will always bother them.

They took one indigenous tribe in Africa who still had traditional or what they call primitive culture and said this is how ALL black skin people are. They all wear plates in the lips, swing from trees, don't have a written language etc etc. ALL people who live their have very different beliefs.

We don't all shared the same beliefs what Egyptians belief is not the same as Jews, Chinese, Germans and french believe because we are all different. Blacks are the same way, we are different than whites. They try to get others to look like them, act like them, talk like them and dress like them. Now they want us to believe like them. It's time we be what we want to be and stop being in the image of others.

People complain when they are suffering. They are seeking relief. If you are white you are certainly turning a cold shoulder to your own people. Try to look at it from their point of view. Disadvatanged whites are increasing in number again, yet the advantages we paid in to, that are being given to others, are not being equally shared with us. It is something that needs to change. That's why people complain. It's the first step the powerless take towards change. Perhaps you could do better?

The answer to your question is very simple - discrimination.

If Blacks can be discriminated against and can complain about it then Whites should be able to do the same thing. After all, we all want equality don't we?

The squeaky wheel gets the grease - Personally, I'd like to hear a lot more from the White squeaky wheels instead of from the Black ones all of the time.
