Remember this...
Kill Hector Dead Mother Doesn't Care Much
Kilo, Hecto, Deka, Meter/Liter, Deci, Centi, Milli

Start at the base (the middle) for every space you "move" the decimal.
For example you have 1 Liter: 1
To find out how many milliliters are in that 1 Liter....

1.0 Liter 10 Deci 100 Centi 1000 Milli

So if you can remember KHDMDCM (Kill Hector Dead Mother Doesn't Care Much), then all you have to do is move the decimal.

mili usually represented by the letter m
means ten to the negative thousand or 1 milileter = .001 liters so
your answer would be 1000
