I think some of the biggest modern gifts to astrology and jyotish in particular have come from the software savvy astrologers. Can someone pls suggest some 'BEST and GENUINE' astrologers in Chennai, India Nearly all astrology calculation software came about because the individual had a love for or knowledge of astrology and had the necessary programming skills. Many different flavors show up in the software and though none of them is perfect, but then, nor is this world! Add to those ventures and attempts to help out, the few databases that exist and at least one of which has serious potential for research applications, namely AstroDatabank, these are all very exciting developments, something that was hard to imagine as recently as 30 years ago! While we drive these folks crazy with our demands for more and more improvements, all of us astrologers of any and all cloths should take a moment to thank individuals like Michael Erlewine, John Halloran, Michael Boender, Andrew Foss, Andrew Haydn, Das Goravani, Lois Rodden and Mark McDonough and many others.

During the development of jyotish centuries ago,Can someone pls suggest some 'BEST and GENUINE' astrologers in Chennai, India life was probably simpler, more harmonious and balanced than it is now. Can someone pls suggest some 'BEST and GENUINE' astrologers in Chennai, India? There is nothing that is more dangerous in this world than the formula for the nuclear bomb, and that all will admit is more readily available to the populace than are jyotish secrets. Hark! The world is still here is all I want to remind you, despite our fears voiced in the daily press or elsewhere for decades and decades! Share freely, you Jyotish gurus and teachers and trust not just in the power of jyotish but also in its purifying properties as its follower practices and matures, which I hope you have personally experienced? The practice of jyotish can change one gradually, only in a positive way. In some cases it takes longer if too many malefic planets are influencing the personal indicators, but ultimately ... it is probably going to be the nuclear bomb rather than jyotish and its secret powers that could potentially take out this world and its 'civilization'!

Best astrologer in Chennai is easy to find out.

If we imagine a path in the sky at approximately 18 degrees arc in the width encircling the earth in an east west direction, groups of stars will appear to be apparently fixed with respect to earth along this imaginary path.

There are 27 groups of stars in the path which are recognized by Vedic Astrology.

These groups of stars in the imaginary path are called zodiac.

When the zodiac is divided into 12 equal parts each having a span of 30 degrees arc, then each of this arc is called a zodiac sign.

A sign, therefore, will consist of 2 ¼ groups of stars. A particular group of stars called Ashwini, in the zodiac is considered the starting point of the zodiac and is called the star no.1. Similarly, there are individual name for the 26 group of stars.

Ashwini(1),

Bharini(2),

Krittika(3)

are the first three stars in the zodiac.

As stated earlier, the first span of 30 degrees arc in the zodiac will consist of

Ashwini, Bharini and ¼ of Krittika constitute the first zodiac sign called 'Aries'.

The name of the remaining 11 zodiac signs after 'Aries' are :

Taurus(2)

Gemini(3),

Cancer(4),

Leo(5), Virgo(6),

Libra(7),

Scorpio(8),

Sagittarius(9),

Capricorn(10),

Aquarius(11)

and Pisces(12).

I looked at the situations where a planet was in its own sign and retrograde. The following pattern emerged:
Mercury - Gemini 0% Virgo 100%
Venus - Taurus 30% Libra 70%
Mars - Aries 42% Scorpio 58%
Jupiter - Sagittarius 55% Pisces 45%
Saturn - Capricorn 52% Aqua 48%

As you can see it is not uniformly distributed with something very interesting going on with mercury in this sample of 19192 charts! I don't know why mercury was never retrograde in sidereal Gemini!

Why you people ask freely ? Are You retired, unemployed or weak from financial point of view, by using such a logic will you be able to buy ration, fruits, vegetables, clothes & other necessary items free of cost or at a lesser price from the market? No. So why do you expect a free service or rebate from an astrologer? Questions you ask an astrologer are worth millions of rupees for you. There is a huge difference between buying things from the market & seeking astrological guidance from an astrologer.

Hello all,

I prefer to treat the planets in astrology, and their motions like the hands of a clock. just like few astrologers in chennai.

The hands of the clock indicate time but do not control or 'effect' time (nor do they affect time!).

The mere fact of the hands of the clock coming together at noon is not what causes hunger in most individuals as their minds turn towards lunch, but rather that the two completely disparate activities, namely, cycle of hunger and the cycle of the clock-hands are synchronized, more or less that they coincide at lunch hour.

Everybody does not eat or even feels hungry at the same time every day, though the clock regularly joins its hands at noon.

Similarly, mars comes to a certain position each day but does not cause an accident or injury every single time. Mars, therefore, does not cause the injury but merely indicates the probability or circumstances where such can occur.
Planetary symbols are indicators that we use in astrology. For some they are at 044 2312
3432

Those who are comfortable with esoteric conceptualizations, often point out the possibility of the macrocosmic planetary cycles being in synchrony with similar cycles within the microcosm (Yat pinde tat brahmande; as in the unit (body), so in the universe).

We shall leave such pondering to the philosophers and turn our attention to more practical issues.

Thanks and regards
