If you don't have Microsoft Word already on your computer, you can get by in Notepad or use Googles free online word processor called Writely. Google is offering a lot of cool free programs, pretty soon we won't need to pay microsoft just to write a nice letter.

You need word processing software installed on your computer. If you are using Windows you can use WordPad which is already installed. Some Windows PCs come pre-installed with Microsoft Works or Microsoft Office which both include the software you need.
