I have older bathroom fixtures in my apartment and the bathtub seems to keep dirt, even if I clean it everyday. What can I use to give my tub a coating to make it more dirt-resistant and where can I get it??

I looked into re-glazing an old claw foot tub once and it cost a bunch of money. The only thing to do is buy a good cleaner and do it daily. The cost for a re-glazing was much more than the purchase of a replica.
