Kids a alcohol have never been a good mix. I think there are a lot of adult conversations, situations and behaviors that I would not want my child exposed to in many pubs. If it is a family atomoshere pub, it would probably be about the same as a family party or reunion. Serving apple juice to them is a given. It's the other exposure that I would b concerned about.

by law a child can go into the pub and have alcoholic beverages from the age of 5 as long as it is in the pub garden, i rember reading that somewhere. but i think that there should definitely be a restriction on children being in pubs as the anti smoking ban has not been completly brought out yet and they are more than likely subjected to smoke in a public house. i have just started university and went to a small family pub last friday and i saw a little boy falling asleep on one of the sofas, his mother carried on drinking! i think it is self explanitary!!!!

i do not think that kids should be allowed period...this is an adult environment..kids shouldnt experience that kind of scene...my aunt is friends with this guy..that is in a wheelchair..when he was 11 his mom had him in a pub..a fight broke out and he was shot..now he is paralized..i know that many will say that this can happen anywhere but it is less likely to happen in chucky cheese or at the park were kids belong!!

I don't think they should be allowed in. I sure wouldn't take my kids into one. And I can't imagine any parent wanting to take their child to a Pub.

Absolutely not allowed!! Pubs are for adults . Why would anyone want to subject a child to so much abuse. unnecessary abuse at that. I wouldn't want any child around a grown up who's drunk. the foul language. loudness. indecent exposure yada yada yada.
