My dog's names are:
Neelix (named after a character in Star Trek: Voyager)
Frodo (named after Frodo Baggins in Lord of the Rings)
Tigerlily (named for my favorite flower; and for the speckles on her face)
Giuliani (he was born on 9-11, and is named after the former mayor of New York, Rudolph Giuliani)
Sergeant Margie (he was given to me as a pup by a woman who thought he was girl. She named him "Margie", after my mom, but when we realized he was aboy, we changed his name to SERGEANT Margie.)
Dolly (after Dolly Parton, because when she came to us she was pregnant and her teats were huge)

Dog - "Daisy May Sunshine" because she's as sweet as a daisy in May Sunshine
Beta Fish - "Lucky Frank" - Bought him around Halloween & Frank was short for Frankenstein. My son thought we should change his name to Lucky because he's lucky he didn't die yet.
3 Parakeets -"Whitey" because she's mostly white like a cloud, "Fred" because that's what my husband calls my son sometimes, & "Eddie" just because I guess.
My son had 3 goldfish when he was small - "Car, Truck & Motorcycle".

I have two pets. My cat's name is Todd. I named him this simply because I was only six years old and loved the name. My rabbit's name is Kali because her coat is Calico colored.

My dog is Xena. Yes, after the tv show.
My cat is Theodore. We brought him home and didn't know what to name him. One night my husband looked at him and said, "Theodore?" and the cat answered, "Mew?" The name stuck, although sometimes I refer to him (the cat, not my husband) as Senator McStinkypants.
