It's a diversion. There are no celebrities I love. But, many that I despise. George Steinbrenner, P Diddy, Tom Cruise. I follow their pathetic lives for a diversion, like I follow the news. I love my friends, nobody else.

hahh... i think we care about them a lot because sometimes it's nice to know about other's dirt and then be able to talk about it. I find it weird how when i gather with a bunch friends, the small talks are always about celebrities. In a way, it gives us something to talk about with our friends. Also, it's fun to talk about people's predicament other than our own. By focusing on other people's problems, we won't have to deal with our own problems.:)

That is an excellent question. Maybe we all have the wish deep down that one day, we might actually meet our heroes and they might actually want to talk to us. Huh, some hope - as a friend of mine would say, if you're talking to an celeb about anything other than him, he ain't listening!

i wondered that too.they make money off of us and get lots of money.then they come out with a line of clothing or something and charge way too much.are they making these prices for their fans or just people on their level.cause apparently they don't care about us.i know i don't really care for them too much,i just like what they do when its entertaining

its not that anybody cares about them. its entertainment and its interesting. most of it is juicy and over the top.
