The RULER?? The bone between the pelvis and the knee is the femur. It's the longest and strongest bone in the body. There isn't any ruler, though.
We DO use a ruler to measure and compare leg lengths by taking x-rays of hip joints, knee joints, and ankle joints all on one study, with a ruler taped to the table top and not moving the patient between exposures. That is called a scanogram, but there isn't any built-in ruler in the leg.

That would be King Thigh. He rules the area between the knee and pelvis. He is generally a good king, as far as rulers go.

I have NO ideal what your trying to ask other than something about something between the pelvic and knee soooo I will share what I know about that area and maybe you can pick out what you need and your question will be answered.GOOD LUCK, I HOPE THIS WORKS..lol :) The area where bone can be found according to your question would be pertaining to long bones. They consist of the Clavicle, Humerus, Radius, Ulna, FEMUR, Tibia, Fibula, Metacarpals, Metatarsals and Phlanges. you also might be talking a type of surface bone, there are two kinds...Articular and non-Articular. Well marked examples of Articular eminences are found in the heads of the humerus and FEMUR and of articular depressions in the glenoid cavity of the Scapula and the ACETABULUM of the hip bone. If you feel your bone right below your hip exterior and to the medial line and before your femur you will actually be feeling a part of your femur, it's kind of a knuckle that sticks out of your femur at the very top of the head proximal to the exterior pelvic girdle and far distal from the groin.
