Everything was normal until a tornado hit on May 28, 1996, in Kentucky. We were rebuilding and repairing everything that was affected by the tornado.

In January I saw a night launch of the Space Shuttle, from along the causeway, inside the space center - once in a lifetime experience.
Comparing a shuttle launch to a 747 launch is like comparing (the exhaust sound of) an NHRA top fuel car to a Nextel cup car.

I was very young. That was the year my mom re-wallpapered half of the house. I spent a lot of time in the waiting room at a wallpaper place called "Paddens" coloring in coloring books.
