I can watch any film (namely chick flicks with my spouse) and regardless of what it is, when that 20th Century Fox drum roll starts, with the 20th Century Fox logo with the spotlights, and I'm INSTANTLY ready for Star Wars.

Am I the only one?

nope, and for good reason too

they're both in the same key (B flat major), the last high note of the 20th Century Fox theme is the same as the first high note in the opening Star Wars theme (2nd octave B flat), and they're both so similarly fanfare-ish

Well, I'm a John Williams fan.

Q. Did Jerry Goldsmith write the 20th Century Fox fanfare ?

Q. Is John Williams a workaholic ? Check the list of work he's don, at the attached link, including Jurrassic Park 4 & Indiana Jones 4 - busy, or what !
