McDonald's is the majority owner of Chipotle. They have beneficial ownership of 87% of the combined voting power of the outstanding stock and 65% of economic interest after the initial public offering. This info is available in Chipotle's 2005 Annual Report (pg 7).

I think this is an urban myth that got spread around somehow. Chipotle is a successful fast-food franchise like McDonald's, but that's the only way they are related.

yeah mickey ds own chipotle. that food is terrible. i rather go to taco bell or just eat straight salt cuz that food has tons of it.
