Wow - I've never heard of ANY of those...

I found this on Google:
1) It was popular superstition that coffee or tea (and also urine) that is covered with bubbles after it has been poured is a sign of money to come

2) To make a cake bake light, always stir the batter the same direction

3) people who show signs of mental abberration are encouraged to eat walnuts

4) If you get a blister on your tongue, granny use to say that you wouldn't have it if you didn't lie so much

5) an old shoe superstition says that if a new pair of shoes squeak that is a sign that the owner has not paid for them

Bubbles in coffee indicate money will come to you.
If you stir the batter in the same dirrection the cake will bake light.
Eating walnuts is good for sanity
Blisters on the tongue mean that you speak evil of people
Squeaky shoes mean that you owe money/can't be trusted.
